“I visited this restaurant on a weekend around 9:30 PM. I called ahead to confirm seat availability, and they told me there would be no problem. When I arrived, I was surprised to see that almost the entire restaurant was empty, with only two or three tables occupied. After finishing my meal, I understood why. The biggest disappointment was the Puranpuri. Calling it Puranpuri is misleading because it felt more like a thick bhakri than the soft, authentic puran puri. I would suggest the restaurant either improve the recipe or try the Puranpuri at Thakar Thal on SG Highway to understand what customers expect. The mixed veg sabji was another letdown. The gravy had separated, and water was clearly visible, which did not give the impression of a freshly prepared or well-cooked dish. The roti was acceptable only while it was hot. Within a couple of minutes, it turned hard and chewy, which affected the dining experience. Considering the prices, I don't think this restaurant offers good value for money. In Ahmedabad, there are far better options such as Thakar Thal or Gordhan Thal on SG Highway, or Pakwan on Ashram Road, where the food quality is much better for a similar price. The only positive was the staff. They were polite and friendly throughout the visit. My concern is that the food quality does not match the pricing, and that seems to be the reason the restaurant was nearly empty even on a weekend. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the food. Otherwise, it will be difficult for the restaurant to attract and retain customers. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place.”
