“Last Sunday, I visited Motera Tea Post for the second time in two-four months. Last time, I liked the taste and quality of the maskaban here, so this time I came for the second time. We, a family of 4, came and ordered two hot chocolates, one vanilla flavor coffee, two cheese puffs and two maskabans for a total of Rs 770. Since there were only 3 hot drinks between the four of us, we asked for an extra cup. The sad thing was that after everything else, the first thing we were told was that there would be an extra charge of Rs 5 per cup. At the time I was placing the order, a daily female customer came and complained that she had swallowed too much tea. The manager who took the order said, "No problem, give it back, I will give you new tea, since you are a daily customer." Now the question is that this outlet of Tea Post can afford a whole tea, but if a customer asks for a paper cup, then it is considered 5 rupees. Now even McDonald's gives a simple cup for free. The taste of the food is really good, but for service and customer care I will give it only 1 rating. There are no extra facilities here for a customer like me who visits this outlet once in two to three months. I have been to Makarbana Tea Post, behind Divya Bhaskar, where I work as an Journalist, many times to drink tea and coffee. Many times, if you order a cup of coffee here, you are given an extra cup on request. I don't understand why this policy is different for every outlet? Can't such a big franchise afford even a small paper cup? The question is not about the five rupee paper cup. The question is how much do you facilitate the customer.”
