💬 What diners say

“Before sharing this, I'd heard good things about the food, so this experience was genuinely disappointing. I picked up a takeaway thali, but after getting home I noticed missing the chaas and papad, even though they're clearly listed as part of the meal on the menu. I called the guy thinking it would be a simple conversation. I wasn't looking for a refund, just an acknowledgment of the mistake or an offer to replace the missing items. Instead, the person on the phone became unnecessarily confrontational. He first claimed those items aren't included, and when I pointed out that they are printed on the menu, he changed his argument and said customers should always verify every item before leaving. That's a strange way to handle a genuine complaint. Packing errors can happen anywhere, and I even said it was probably an honest oversight. But rather than accepting that possibility, he kept interrupting, infact at one point started blabbering so that I can't speak (IMAGINE). I won't be returning, and I hope the OWNER pays more attention to how customer CALLS complaints are handled. The cook was a good guy!”

“I rarely leave negative reviews, but the way this situation was handled left me with no choice. I ordered two thali parcels, and once I got home I noticed that both orders were missing the chaas and papad, even though they're listed as part of the meal on the restaurant's own menu. I called expecting a straightforward response-either an apology or an offer to provide the missing items. Instead, the person I spoke to became defensive from the very beginning. He first insisted that chaas and papad are never included. When I pointed out that they're clearly mentioned on the menu, he shifted the blame onto me, saying I should have checked whether every item was packed before leaving. Mistakes happen, and I even suggested that whoever packed the order might have accidentally missed them. But rather than acknowledging that possibility, he kept arguing and refused to accept any responsibility. The issue wasn't about a cup of chaas or a papad. It was the complete lack of accountability and the dismissive attitude towards a genuine customer concern. Ironically, the food itself was quite good, which makes the poor customer service even more disappointing. Good food can bring customers in, but this kind of behavior is what drives them away. I certainly won't be ordering from this place again.”

“Easily the worst customer service I've experienced while ordering food. I ordered two thali parcels. After reaching home, I realized both were missing the chaas and papad that are clearly mentioned as included on their own menu. When I called to inform them, I expected a simple apology or at least an invitation to come back and collect the missing items. Instead, the person on the phone immediately became argumentative. First, he flat-out denied that they provide chaas and papad at all. When I pointed out that it's literally printed on their menu, he changed his story and claimed I should have personally confirmed every single item before placing the order. Imagine blaming the customer for trusting the menu YOU printed. I even suggested that the person packing the order may have simply forgotten to include them, but he kept talking over me and arguing just to avoid taking responsibility. I genuinely wish Google allowed voice recordings because his behavior was unbelievable. This was never about the value of chaas and papad. It was about honesty, accountability, and basic respect for customers. The food itself seemed fresh and well made, so I have no complaints about the poor cook. Unfortunately, people with this kind of attitude are representing the business, and they completely ruin the experience. Absolutely abysmal customer service. I won't be ordering from here again.”
