“Absolutely pathetic experience at Monginis Cake Shop, Gota. I bought a simple pastry worth ₹80 while I was on my bike with my daughter and asked for a carry bag - a basic, reasonable request. Instead of handling it politely, the shop owner flat-out refused and then went on to make arrogant and insulting remarks. He had the audacity to say, “You people don’t ask at Amul” and even questioned my “capacity” to afford a ₹5 carry bag. This wasn’t just rude - it was downright disrespectful and degrading. No customer deserves to be spoken to like this, especially over something so trivial. This kind of attitude shows zero professionalism and absolutely no respect for customers. It’s shocking that a brand like Monginis allows such behavior at its outlets. The problem isn’t ₹5 - it’s the disgusting way customers are treated. Would strongly advise others to avoid this outlet unless you’re okay being insulted for no reason.”
